4. Roofs

The roofs of grain sheds are exposed to harsh weather conditions that can cause damage over time. Roof repairs are essential to protect against water infiltration and maintain structural integrity.

Installing roofing

- Removal of damaged silo ventilation systems (tor)

Damaged or old aeration equipment is removed and replaced with new systems that ensure optimal operation of the silos.

Structural repairs

- Installing ventilation systems in warehouses and silos

These systems are crucial for maintaining the quality of stored grain, preventing mold or condensation.

Waterproofing

- Assembly/Dismantling of equipment at height and hard-to-reach places, with utility climbers

Equipment, such as fans and ventilation systems, are assembled or dismantled at height by teams of utility climbers using safe and efficient methods.

Example

In a recent project, a roof that had been damaged for more than 10 years was completely re-roofed using heat-insulating sandwich panels, thus improving storage conditions in the warehouse.

Rehabilitation steps

Inspection and design: A full assessment of the structural condition is carried out, followed by a detailed technical design. This stage is crucial for identifying areas for intervention and preparing optimal repair solutions.

Structural repairs: Special carbon grouts and special asphalt mixes are used to reinforce and restore damaged areas. This process increases structural strength and provides protection against further cracking or deterioration.
